WA BiCC will join in the celebration of the Earth Day on social media with various posts from our programs and other relevant articles. The theme of the celebration is on environmental and climate literacy which is the engine not only for creating green voters and advancing environmental and climate laws and policies but also for accelerating green technologies and jobs. The Earth Day celebration this year, comes off on April 22, 2017. The Earth Day is an annual commemoration founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in first held in 1970.
